Jessica Mathenia  has recently joined Red Hook Family Practice as a  Physician Assistant.  She and her husband (who is also a PA-C with the practice) recently moved to St. John from Pennsylvania with their family and have already fallen in love with the islands. Jessica is originally from Pittsburgh and attended PA school through the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She has been practicing medicine for 13 years and has experience in primary care, women’s health and urgent care. She loves music, staying active, going on adventures with her family and has developed a new found love for snorkeling and learning about all the beautiful wildlife the islands have to offer. Originally from a small town, she is very excited to  provide medical care to a smaller community. She is looking forward to her family’s new island adventure and cannot wait to get to know the people of St. Thomas and St. John.
